The Picnic.

Strongly influenced by the Picnic concerts at Kenwood House and Marble Hill. I would like to recreate the special atmosphere of an outdoor picnic performance.

Please bring food and drink. Something to sit on like cushions and a rug. If the weather looks inclement please bring an umbrella or waterproof clothing. The Vale Castle has no roof! The production will go on after dark therefore please bring warm clothing, it may be June but it does get cold once the sun goes down, it can also get damp when the dew falls. A torch or lantern would also be advisable. There will be some limited seating.

I want to encourage the audience to picnic before and during the performance. Please note that barbeques are not permitted for safety reasons.

Reserving a ticket doesn't commit you to a performance but it will give us an indication of numbers so we can guage the scope of facilities required.

We want the production to be inclusive therefore we have put together a ticket structure that gives concessions to students, the unemployed, senior citizens and group bookings. We are also offering a family ticket.
