Revolve Theatre Company is dedicated to the production of Classical Plays, New Writing and introducing Shakespeare to students from an actors' perspective. Plays, workshops and texts are looked at from the actors' perspective. One of the goals of the company is to put more power back into the actors' hands, especially in the areas of artistic interpretation, finance and casting. The company uses the power of co-operation. Each actor builds a series of characters in the context of scenes and speeches for presentation in workshops, and for performance in full-length plays. We also film our work on VHS and .avi formats. Each actor chooses the characters they wish to work on. We have been sending teams of actors to schools in the Home Counties to present workshops with great success.
