An example of one of our solutions. S002

The problem

The client was inudated with requests for information from managers. This information was generally ad hoc information anything from what did this employee earn last year? to what is this employee's car grade? to how many employees do we have with this particular skill?

The Solution was to implement a Jetstream system for all crucial Employee information and publish it via IWR.

Each manager can now log in to IWR from their regional bases using their Web Browser. At the point of log in the data is automatically filtered to their individual requirements. They can then drill down to any of their employees within three clicks or get straight to the employee using name search. A profile of that employee is there with all the useful data on one page which can be printed or emailed. The managers were also able to use prompts and schedule their reports to suite their individual needs as well as choose the format of the report in Pdf or Excel format.

A suite of general summary reports were created and published to answer all the most popular questions. And as each new request came in the client now had time to deal with the truly obscure requests and was able to write ad hoc reports in minutes and publish them himself if he felt the organisation would benefit.

These summary reports were burst overnight so that they were instantly available when the managers arrived at their desks in the morning.

Because of the efficiency of the join strategy and profiling only one report needed to be written rather than a report for each manager.

Because the drills are self maintaining any new structures like divisions will automatically be generated in the jetstream system.
